Candy AI shows three Premium plans on its subscriptions page, all priced against a $13.99 monthly reference:

The same page also lists billing every 2 weeks ($9.79) and weekly ($5.60) as payment options, and notes that plans renew automatically at the same price and term and that local taxes may apply. Candy AI accepts Visa, Mastercard and crypto, and says charges appear under a neutral merchant name.
Is Candy AI free?
Only in a limited way. Candy AI's terms say a free user can generally send a maximum of 5 messages, while the homepage invites visitors to "start slow with the free trial". Candy AI does not publish the length or contents of that trial. In practice the free experience is a short preview designed to lead to the first payment.
How Candy AI tokens work
Premium includes "100 tokens per month" alongside unlimited text chat. Tokens pay for the expensive features: Candy AI's terms describe them as access to extended features like image generation or voice notes, and its affiliate page lists token packs bought "for images, videos and calls". Candy AI also says the more detailed your companion, the more tokens you use.

Token pack prices and the token cost of each image, voice note or video are not published on any page a logged-out visitor can see, so we do not list them.
How Candy AI makes money
Candy AI earns from two streams it names itself: subscriptions and token purchases. Its affiliate page says every subscription, renewal and token purchase from a referral is credited to the affiliate, who earns up to 40% revenue share for life or up to $70 CPA per new customer. Candy AI does not mention advertising anywhere on its site.

- Age: 18+ only; Premium includes 18+ images and video, and the content policy bans anything resembling minors or real people.

What Candy AI's pricing tells an operator
The low annual price ($3.99 a month) is the hook, not the business. The subscription buys unlimited chat, which is cheap to serve; every image, voice note and video costs tokens, which is where spend per member grows. A site built on the same model needs a strong first-payment offer, a token store, and enough fresh companions and image content that members keep topping up.
